I bet you thought this was supposed to last forever
I bet you thought I was supposed to be the one
I bet you thought you couldn't get any happier
If you didn't, well I thought it for you.

I bet you think this is the hardest decision you'll make
I bet you think no one will ever come as close
I bet you think there will be nothing but tears afterword
If you don't, well I'm thinking it for you.

I bet you won't think about me after a while
I bet you won't think about the days we shared
I bet you won't think about shedding one tear tomorrow
If not, than maybe it was a mistake.

I'm at a crossroads and I'm confused
My heart and mind are in sync and at war
It's like someone replaced my tear ducts with a river
So what shall I do?

I don't want to choose for myself
I don't want to hear "Do what's best"
I want a direct answer out of your mouth
Then the war will finally be rest.
